Cracker Cow

Brought to the region in the 1600s by the Spanish, the cracker cow is emblematic of the culture and history of Miakka. The image recalls the region’s pioneering spirit and its rustic rural charm, all of which play an integral role in the club’s identity.

Clubhouse

Overlooking the golf course, the elevated clubhouse will be an iconic image and can be seen from nearly every hole. From the covered porches and expansive patios, everyone will have breathtaking views. Underneath the clubhouse running the length of the building is a tunnel so all golfers and maintenance vehicles can maneuver without any traffic being seen during play on holes 9 and 18.

The Still

Reminiscent of an old moonshiner’s distillery, The Still plays off Miakka’s Old Florida heritage. It is a charming, informal gathering spot overlooking the lake near the heart of the golf facilities. Here, members and guests can relax and enjoy a favorite snack or beverage while swapping stories or reliving the best shots of the day. Other highlights will include billiards, golf simulators, fire pit, bocci, fishing and horseshoes. The Still will act as a temporary clubhouse until the main clubhouse is completed.

Cabins

The member cottage’s Florida Cracker style of architecture is based on the traditional designs of the original settlers’ homes. The cottages provide ideal accommodation for members and guests over long weekends and extended stays at the club. Thoughtfully designed, the cottages are available as 4 and 8-bedroom floor plans with private baths, large common areas, screened porches, wet bars, hot tub, and fire pit.
